Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 7, 2026
This policy explains information processed by the Insave downloader and Creator Showcase.
1. Downloader data
Insave servers do not permanently store submitted Instagram URLs or downloaded files. After a successful extraction, Recent Links automatically saves up to five source URLs, content types, and timestamps in that browser, and you can clear them at any time. The history list is not separately uploaded or synchronized, but a link is sent to the extraction endpoint when you submit or reuse it. Consent-gated analytics measure aggregate events without submitted URLs. Media is not hosted by Insave; your browser retrieves it directly from Instagram CDN. Limited usage, cookie, and rate-limit data may be processed to operate and protect the service.
2. Google sign-in and account data
When you sign in to Showcase, we process your account ID, email, display name, and profile image through Google and Supabase. Your display name and image may be public. Email is visible only to authorized administrators.
3. Community activity
We store Instagram source URLs shared by members, titles, descriptions, categories, likes, and reports. Shared items and member public profiles are visible to visitors. Original Instagram links preserve source attribution, while report outcomes and administrator actions are retained in audit records.
4. Deletion, security, and contact
You may delete your submissions or request account deletion. Community data is removed with the account, although minimal moderation audit records may be retained to prevent abuse. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Contact: [email protected]
5. InSave Organizer (Android app)
The InSave Organizer app can import media you choose from your device and download public media when you paste, share, or open a supported Instagram link through an Insave link. For link downloads, the app sends the submitted link to Insave's extraction service over HTTPS and temporarily processes the request IP address for rate limiting and security. The submitted link and downloaded file are not permanently stored on Insave servers. Media is downloaded directly from Instagram's CDN and saved in the app's private storage; if you enable the gallery option, a copy is also saved to your device's shared media library. Library files and organizational metadata stay on your device unless you explicitly share or export them. The app does not require an account. The app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to serve and measure ads. Depending on your consent choices and regional law, Google may process IP addresses, device identifiers, app interactions, and diagnostic information. Google's consent form is shown where required, and privacy choices can be reopened from Settings. Declining advertising consent does not disable the app's saving or organizing features.
